Making Spend Matter

As part of Urbact Network, Preston City Council came to us for a mini-series of 2 animated explainer videos. They wanted to explain the process of city procurement simply and quickly to fit in with their campaign #MakingSpendMatter
We needed to show how it affects our everyday lives and why good procurement is essential and can shape a city’s future.

We created a story of a fictional city to show how city councils and governments can use procurement to invest in themselves and generate wealth from within.

Using a joyful, modern illustration style, animated characters and a dynamic pace, we turned this relatively unknown technical subject into a fun story – helping the audience to understand and relate to the topic. We also created subtitles for a number of European languages.
