Wigan and Leigh College came to us with quite a big video brief. They wanted several marketing videos that showed off the huge wealth of facilities and the expertise of their staff across their 3 campuses.
We had the challenge of capturing as much of the college life and courses as possible, for them to show at Open Evenings, Youtube, on the website and their social media channels.
We produced 4 longer interview videos for each of their Centres of Excellence; Health & Social, Creative Arts, Sport and Engineering
We also created a more general and quick-paced dynamic 16-18 video for the Wigan Campus, and for the Leigh Campus, which also included voiceover from current students.
In the end, we edited down several shorter social videos, around 15-20s that give viewers a quick snippet of college life.
We had a very tight filming schedule to try and cover as much of each site as possible with B-Roll, plus many 10s of video interviews with staff and current students – but with stellar organisation, it worked!
We then crafted together the interviews to tell a great story and show how unique each Centre of Excellence is.
They now have a full suite of marketing videos that showcase every aspect of college life, helping prospective students to choose them with confidence.
